From June 2019 to May 2020, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, Rouen hosted the Pinault Collection, a few months before the opening of the Bourse de Commerce, its future exhibition space in the heart of Paris. This partnership allows you to discover, in Rouen, a selection of works by important artists from the Pinault Collection as well as an unpublished part of the city's heritage. Since its creation nearly 30 years ago, the Pinault Collection has continued to grow and become a major player in the contemporary art scene.

Rich in works by the greatest artists of our time, regularly presented at Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana in Venice, as well as in numerous reference exhibitions, the Pinault Collection is one of the most important and dynamic collections of contemporary art in the world. For this first collaboration, the Réunion des Musées Métropolitains de Rouen has chosen to focus on the British artists in the collection, thus offering a contemporary extension of the historical links that have existed between Normandy and England since the Middle Ages.
