Hans Hartung et al.

From 1 May to 30 September 2023, the Hartung-Bergman Foundation presents an exhibition devoted to the cosmic visions of Hans Hartung and Anna-Eva Bergman. Through a wide choice of paintings, drawings, sculptures, photographs and archives, Cosmic Trip allows visitors an insight into the plastic processes of the two artists, in particular their compositional use of the golden ratio and its hypnotic or even hallucinatory effects. The term cosmic can be used to characterise the work of both artists, who shared a taste for forces exceeding earthly limits.
