Grace Weaver’s works are the subject of Prélude, a solo exhibition at Kunstmuseum Magdeburg. On view are works from the artist’s ‘Flower’ series (2024), in which intertwined tangles of stems oscillate between abstraction and emotional expression. The exhibition also presents works from Weaver’s series of ‘Mothers’ (2025), which draw on art historical motifs from ancient terracotta figures to iconic representations of Eve or Aphrodite, articulating a contemporary approach to identity, physicality and female experience.

Grace Weaver’s work is included in I Can Buy Myself Flowers, a group exhibition at Kunsthal n, Copenhagen. The exhibition explores floral symbolism as a source of sensuality, strength, rebellion, and defiant courage. I Can Buy Myself Flowers takes its title from Miley Cyrus’ song of the same name, and celebrates the flower as one of art history’s most widely used and enduring motifs: universally recognisable, aesthetically accessible, and at the same time charged with meanings of life, death, love, grief, and transformation.
