Eddie Martinez’s drawings are on view in a special presentation at the Albertina Klosterneuburg, alongside historical works by Georg Baselitz. Bringing together 350 works on paper by Martinez with works by Georg Baselitz, the exhibition highlights the importance of drawing within each artists’ practice. The dedicated presentation forms part of Donated with Love, an exhibition of works recently donated to the museum’s permanent collection.

Eddie Martinez’s new public sculpture Untitled, 2026, is on view at Riverfront Park, Newark. The sculpture was created for The Art of the Game, a public art programme presented by ARTS 14C installed across New York and New Jersey. The exhibition invites twenty-three internationally acclaimed artists to reimagine one of the world’s most iconic symbols of sport – the football – as monumental public sculpture.

Work by Eddie Martinez and Julian Schnabel are featured in Super Duper, a group presentation in Gallery Met at The Metropolitan Opera, New York. Curated by Dodie Kazanjian and Donatien Grau, the exhibition brings together twenty artists from multiple generations, each contributing a work that reimagines what superheros might mean today. Collectively, these works probe a provocative question: What does a superhero look like in our time? The exhibition coincides with the world premiere of the opera The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, based on Michael Chabon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel.
