The exhibition at the Bechtler Stiftung is based on the dialogue between the British sculptor Rebecca Warren and the American painter and conceptual artist Wade Guyton. The two artists represent outstanding and decidedly independent positions in international contemporary art and have never before been exhibited together. The presentation includes some twenty works, some of them large-scale, such as a nearly nine-metre-wide painting by Guyton, or towering bronze stelae by Warren.

Works by Karel Appel, Martin Kippenberger, Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, Tursic & Mille and Rebecca Warren are included in The Echo of Picasso. Marking the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso, the exhibition relates Picasso’s oeuvre to that of contemporary artists whose work carries resonances of his techniques and interests – from Cubism to collage, ceramics, and the use of everyday materials.

Rebecca Warren’s sculptures, Jean and Los Hadeans VI, both 2017, are on long term loan at the Sainsbury Centre, Norwich.
Jean stands nearly 4m high and is installed in the west-end garden alongside Henry Moore's Draped Reclining Woman (1957–58). Los Hadeans VI is on display inside the museum alongside works by Pablo Picasso and Alberto Giacometti.

At the invitation of the Fondation Giacometti, Rebecca Warren – one of contemporary art’s leading protagonists – has selected a number of Alberto Giacometti works from their collection to show alongside her own, including some new work made especially for this exhibition.
In ASensitiv, Warren analyses the revealing and possibly hallucinatory connections when her work meets the art and personality of Alberto Giacometti. Combining sculptures, paintings and drawings, this exhibition presents an opportunity to consider her work in relation to one of the masters of modern art.
