A large-scale painting by Navid Nuur was commissioned by the Dutch Parliament (Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal) and is now on view at its temporary location in The Hague.

Work by Navid Nuur will be on view in an exhibition presenting collector and gallerist Tanya Rumpff’s donation of 89 drawings from her personal collection to the Teylers Museum. Comprising works on paper by prominent Dutch and international artists, the selection will be presented in the museum’s print room, offering new insights into Rumpff’s versatile taste and gifted eye.

Navid Nuur’s, BROKEN CIRCLE, 2011, will be included in the group show Into the LIGHT, an exhibition which explores the experiential possibilities of light by bringing together medieval and contemporary works, from ancient reliquaries and icons to light installations and projections. Nuur’s sculptural installation, a broken circle glowing with neon orange light, encourages a physical experience while prompting comparisons to haloes or orbs.
